The State IT Agency’s GovTech is the annual meeting platform for representatives from government and industry to connect in serving citizens to better use information and communications technologies.

Now celebrating its 14th year, GovTech is the pre-eminent South African ICT conference focusing on public sector ICT service delivery. The Conference brings the Government and ICT industry together on a multi layered platform to enable connecting, learning, sharing, and collaborating.

GovTech underscores SITA’s commitment to provide an ICT thought leadership platform that showcases the latest trends, technologies, and solutions, and brings together diverse stakeholders across the public and private sectors.

Our Mission

GovTech strives to be a premium platform that enables positive citizen experience. Its aim is to promote knowledge-sharing and fostering dialogue among ICT role players with a common interest in the digital transformation agenda of government.

 

Conference Programme

This will be a unique gathering of leaders, starting on 13-15 September 2022 where conference delegates will have an opportunity to get first-hand information from decision makers in government and industry about what SA Connect Phase 2 is all about and the positive impact digital transformation will have on the quality of services delivered to citizens.

The Minister of Communications and Digital Technologies, Ms Khumbudzo Ntshavheni, MP will deliver the keynote address. Our line-up of speakers also includes industry experts, DGs, DDGs, CIOs, Board members, CEOs and academics who will speak about connectivity, how technology can better enable the provision of services and the influence this will have for decision making in the following areas:
