Registration Information – Onsite and Virtual GovTech 2023 Conference

Yes, registration can be done onsite, however we encourage you to register early to receive valuable conference information and the early bird special.

No, discounts apply to early-bird registration pricing.

Yes, for every 11 attendees registered at once, you pay for only 10 attendees.

On site, the registration fee allows access to all events and social functions during the event and includes: conference materials, networking events, presentations and meals as specified in the GovTech Conference programme.

 

Virtual registration fee allows access to speakers, competitions, presentations, gala dinner & awards.


At completion of the registration the attendees will receive a confirmation email with a reference number and the registration information.

Credit card, EFT, Government order (PO’s should be emailed to Govtech.Registration@sita.co.za / govtech@eventoptions.co.za ) if payment (PO, EFT, Promise Letter signed by the CFO) is not received 7 days after the 12th August 2023, registration will be cancelled.

Yes, 30 days before the conference.

Cancelation must be in writing and within the 30  days before the conference will be accepted, 10% admin fee will be deducted from your refund.

GovTech Conference encourages persons with disabilities to participate in the programs and activities.

Yes, the venue is easily accessible for people with disabilities. The conference will have the sign language interpreter.

Accommodation Information

No, travel and hotel accommodation are at the attendee’s cost.

Your conference registration confirmation email contains a link to online hotel reservation and arranged hotel  discount (conference discount) GovTech has secured a discounted fee to these HOTELS

General Conference Information

Yes, one-day conference registration is available. Please note that your registration is valid for one day only. The badges will be actively checked throughout the conference to ensure that participants have registered properly. For virtual attendance you will get the access code valid for one day only.

The GovTech Conference offers many opportunities to network, and socialize with fellow attendees. Relax with your colleagues and newfound friends at a variety of functions. Refer to the conference program for times and locations.

GovTech Conference encourages persons with disabilities to participate in the programs and activities. 

Yes, the venue is easily accessible for people with disabilities. The conference will have the sign language interpreter.

Networking with other conference attendees is available through the attendee platform which will be open to all registered attendees approximately 3 weeks prior to the start of the event. From the platform you will have access to a list of registered attendees who have opted into the networking platform. The attendee list is searchable by a number of different criteria. You can view a list of companies currently attending on our conference site.

Yes, We suggest business attire as appropriate for conferencing, Black tie/ traditional Wear for Gala dinner, and Smart Casual for closing event.

You will receive a conference badge at your arrival and the badge is your "ticket" into all conference activities (sessions, exhibitions, meals and receptions). Badges must be worn at all times and are not transferable at any time. Contact Help desk for re-issue at a cost.

Yes, Speaker presentations will be available post-conference on the “MyGovTech: Conference portal”. the speaker's permission to post their presentation.

Yes it will be sent to you via the speaker facilitator.

Exhibitor information can be found on the Sponsor & Exhibit page of the GovTech Conference website.

GovTech provides transport from the Airport to the Conference and back.

During peak hours transport to and from the Conference and earmarked hotels will be available on 30 minutes intervals.
