Wanda Matandela is the Chief Enterprise Officer, MTN South Africa. He has in this role since March 2018. Matandela joined MTN SA from Ster-Kinekor Theatres where he served as Chief Executive Officer since 2015. Prior to joining Ster-Kinekor, he was with Vodacom, where he led different functions, including being a Managing Director for Small and Medium Business for three years. Other roles include Regional Managing Director (Regional network and commercial operations), where he was responsible for the KwaZulu-Natal, Eastern Cape and Gauteng regions. Before Vodacom, he was Division CEO for Wesbank. In his current role at MTN, he is responsible for MTN SA’s Business Enterprise division where he oversees and provides strategic guidance to the entire division.
He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the Walter Sisulu University, and Masters in Information Systems (Cloud) from the University of Witwatersrand, Wanda also holds an MBA from the University of Stellenbosch Graduate School of Business.
