After matriculating with merit at high school, Loyiso studied a BSc Information Technology Degree at the University of Cape Town (UCT). He obtained higher Certificates from UNISA Business School and GIBS namely MDP and MPE respectively. Loyiso has also been awarded a number of industry related certificates in the field of IT including Cisco CCNA, ITIL, SSEP ETC.
Loyiso is a member of the IODSA (The Institute of Directors South Africa) and ITCP(SA) (
Institute of Chartered IT Professionals), he has obtained the ITCP(SA) (Information Technology Certified Professional) designation and working towards the Certified Director Designation with the IODSA. 
Loyiso worked in the IT industry ever since leaving university in 2002, ranging from IT Administrator, Senior Systems Engineer, Principal Consultant, Chief Technology Assistant at Business Connexion and up to Senior IM Manager (Service Delivery Manager) at Anglo American Platinum. Loyiso took VSP end of December 2015 to focus on establishing his own business.
Loyiso is a Director and founding member of Future Business Consulting, an IT consulting company which also owns and operates a Postnet Franchise. Loyiso is also the Managing Director of the ICT SMME Chamber, an NPO that organizes and mediates the ICT SMMEs; we achieve this objective by facilitating collaborations between SMMEs themselves, the SOEs and the private sector for purposes of building an inclusive ICT economy in South Africa. Through the Chamber Loyiso is also a founding member of other linked NPO’s and entities.
Loyiso is also founding member and Chairperson of the South African Mobile Device Distributors and Repairers Association (SAMDDRA), an organisation formed to ensure the South African fully benefit from the entire value chain of the mobile device industry.
Loyiso serves as a non-executive director of the MICT Seta and Broadband Infraco (BBI) which are government schedule 3b entity and schedule 2a SOC respectively. He is the Chairperson of the ICT Steering Committee at the MICT Seta and Chair’s the Technology, Knowledge and Information Management Committee at the BBI.
